• Work in fast-paced environment, interacting with team members and stakeholders on a daily basis through written and verbal communication
• Performs some design, implementation, and maintenance of complex, multiple product modules and systems
• Large role in developing a new rich internet application/platform utilizing a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) using the latest Microsoft technologies
• Writing unit testing and conducting integration testing for functionality
• Will assist in design and implementation and documentation during product development

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to review functional requirements and translate them into a working design
• Maintain architectural and coding standards
• Will be working in all tiers of a web based product (UI, business logic, and database); a strong knowledge of SOA and UI design is required
• Keep current with technical skills
• Be responsible for the functional integrity for the assigned areas of the platform

• Maintain the highest level of integrity, courtesy, respect, and professionalism while interacting with, team members, employees, and stakeholders
• Attend development meetings
• Provide timely, detailed, and accurate accounting for all time charged to each project

Requirements

• Requires strong technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, and implementation
• Excellent analytical and design skills
• Excellent skills in research and analysis, implementation, and understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation, and quality assurance
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline plus 5+ years of experience
• Very strong knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design
• Experience building n-tier web applications
• Object-oriented programming
• Fluent with industry-standard design patterns and other industry best practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines with minimal supervision
• Must be U.S. Citizen

 
Technical Skill Requirements

• 4+ years experience developing enterprise class software solutions in C#
• Experience with the .NET platform (version 2.0, 3.0, and 3.5)
• Strong skills in HTML/XHTML, DHTML, and ASP.NET 2.0
• Proven abilities with JavaScript & AJAX (ability to hand code is a must)
• CSS and Web/UI design
• XML and XSD
• Web services and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
• Experience with web standards & compliance
• Experience developing SOA platforms
• Advanced knowledge of stored procedures and SQL Server 2005 features
• SQL Server Reporting Services
