Engineering Innovation, Inc. (EII) based in Lafayette, IN is a premier provider of postal automation. EII is a small dynamic company looking for highly motivated individuals to join its engineering team. The engineering team is responsible for the design, construction, testing, maintenance, and documentation of world-class postal automation equipment as well as assisting in defining the overall product direction.
Position responsibilities include:
- Creating / Modifying / Executing test plans and procedures
- Testing software written for Windows based network applications
- Performing regression and system integration testing
- Documenting how to reliably reproduce software defects and enhancements
- Using an issue tracking system to submit defects and enhancements to development team
- Coordinating releases of software with production and customer support
- Creating / Updating software installation applications
- Preparing test equipment in the lab for tests and demos
- Participating in design and code reviews
Successful candidates will posses:
- Experience with MS Windows (2000, XP, Vista)
- Networking knowledge is a plus

Ability to stand on one’s feet for several hours
Familiarity with the following is a plus:
- Writing use cases and test procedures
- Issue Tracking (Bugzilla)
- MS Visio
- Installation Packages (Inno Setup, InstallShield, etc.)
- Revision Control (Perforce)
- Scripting Languages (PERL, Python, etc.)
- MS SQL Server experience
